Day 2: "Something Real"

Daily Quotes:

"You must have something to offer, or they will find something to take"- Ezra, Prospect

"There are some things I can never do" John, Rafiki

After getting off the train around 8 this morning a large portion of our group tried to get into Wildlife this morning, but it was full. We then went to the American Pavilion where Britney claimed to work-- on accident, she misunderstood and everyone was confused. They asked her if she was an American student and she said yes and then they asked her to please drink from the student section. Later one of the "bosses" asked why she wasn't at the Pavilion and Britney was so confused.

As for today's films I watched Prospect, Rafiki and Framed. Rafiki was one of the best films I have ever seen and reminded me of Call Me by Your Name but cuter. Everything about it was amazing. The narrative arc, the cinematography and the acting were the high points. Framed was the worst film I've ever seen, hands down. It was offensive in every realm and I wasted 79 minutes of my life. Prospect was pretty good and the opening sequence was the best. It had lots of diegetic music that was shifted from nondiegetic.

We waited probably an hour for Rafiki and my seat was one of the last and one of the worst. In short, I couldn't see the full screen. No worries, the film was still phenomenal.
